JUARISTI wins the Internationalization Prize in the SME of the Year Award of Gipuzkoa
15 Dec 2020
JUARISTI was yesterday awarded with the Gipuzkoa SME of the Year Prize for Internationalization, granted by the Santander Bank and the Gipuzkoa Chamber of Commerce. Jesús Mindegia, Sales Director, and Leyre Lekuona, Strategic Marketing Director, received a prize that highlights the great work done by JUARISTI in the last years optimizing the service structure and promoting synergies with distributors and service partners in priority markets to boost sales.
Last year we started to see the results of the this work with a record order intake estimated at more than 46 million euros. This year the good trend has been confirmed: despite the uncertainty and the general slowdown in the sector, we have continued to increase our order intake and to deliver our machines at a good pace. So much so that this year we expect to beat the results of 2019, exceeding 25 million turnover, and we already have an order intake that covers next year’s production.
The keys of a successful internationalization
At JUARISTI we have achieved a continuous and successful process of expansion and internationalization, introducing to the market some of the most pioneering configurations of milling machines and boring mills and disruptive technologies that have marked the course of other producers in the sector. The key to this, is the quality of the product and the constant development of technological improvements, a process that we carry out in the company continuously thanks to the active listening of the market and the constant dialogue with our customers.
There are many examples of this work. Among them is the range of universal milling heads ACD7 and ACD8, which were presented in 2019. Both models provide fast positioning time and interpolation capacity with the rest of the axes, which reduces tool change time, increasing productivity. Both products, as well as a multifunction machining center optimized for turning operations, were presented at the last 2019 edition of the EMO fair in Hannover, the most important in the machine tool sector, and Juaristi was selected for the round of visits by the German Minister of Transport and other authorities on the opening day, thus becoming the only Spanish company selected among the more than 2,200 exhibitors at the fair.
One of the our main challenges is to offer the client a universal and standard service, with the same degree of efficiency, quality and compliance in all countries. Customers need to feel accompanied and informed during all the phases of their relationship with the company: from the first consultation to the work of continuous improvement, in order to get the most out of their solution when it is already in full production. It is our obligation to give them back their trust, responding to all their requirements, and for that reason we are working on standardizing processes, improving communication in all phases of the relationship with them and ensuring proper international coordination.
